Those on a vacation from New York to London will now benefit from the British Airway (BA) Club World service on all flights.
Robert Boyle, BA’s commercial director, said the route was a crucial one for business passengers from the states.
He commented: “Heathrow-JFK is a crucial business route and we are delighted to provide a virtual guarantee of our new product on this high-frequency route.
“Research has shown us that our business customers want a home away from home with all of the comfort, privacy and flexibility that one would expect from a plush five-star hotel.”
With the upgrade of the BA service, passengers can now enjoy a six-foot long and 25 per cent wider bed.
There will also be a new improved in-flight entertainment system whereby passengers can pause, rewind or fast forward TV programs on ten-inch monitors.
Those flying from New York JFK Airport will have the choice of 96 Club World service flights each day.
