How do I know if my travel insurance covers my high risk sport?

Most travel insurance policies have an exclusion clause that lists high risk sports and activities that are not covered. Motorcycling, mountaineering, sky diving, bungee jumping, white-water rafting, parasailing and spelunking are among the activities that might not be covered. Some international medical policies offer optional coverage for hazardous sports. Check the policy certificate for full details and any conditions that apply.
