a Terrorist Act which occurs in your departure city or in a city which is a scheduled destination for your Covered Trip, provided the Terrorist Act occurs within 7 days of the Scheduled Departure Date for your Covered Trip;

TERRORIST ACT means an act of violence, other than civil disorder or riot, (that is not an act of war, declared or undeclared) that results in loss of life or major damage to property, by any person acting on behalf of or in connection with any organization which is generally recognized as having the intent to overthrow or influence the control of any government.

A Terrorist Incident in Your city of departure or Destination occurring after Your Effective Date, if You are scheduled to arrive in or depart from that city within 30 days following the Terrorist Inciden

Terrorist Incident means the unsanctioned and illegal use of violence which caused destruction of property, Injury, or death by an individual or group for the express or implied purpose of achieving a political, ethnic, or religious goal or result. A Terrorist Incident does not include general civil disturbance, rioting, an act of war whether declared or undeclared or the intentional release of a biological material.

a Terrorist Act which occurs in your departure city or in a city which is a scheduled destination for your Trip provided the Terrorist Act occurs within 30 days of the Scheduled Departure Date for your Trip;.

A terrorist act committed by an organized terrorist group (recognized as such by the U.S. State Department) that results in property damage, Injury or loss of life. The incident must take place in a domestic or foreign city in which You are scheduled to arrive within 30 days following the incident and Your tour operator (if applicable) must not have offered a substitute itinerary. For foreign terrorism coverage only, coverage for travel to or through countries in which such a documented or reported incident has occurred during the 30 days prior to purchase of insurance is excluded. Losses resulting due to the issuance of travel advisories, bulletin or alerts; war or acts thereof; civil disorder, riot or unrest; bomb scares or threats of terrorist activity; or terrorist acts against any Common Carrier (e.g., airline or cruise line) are not covered.

1) The terrorist act occurs within 30 days of the Scheduled Departure Date for your Trip; and

2) Your premium is received within 15 days of the initial deposit/payment for your Trip.

"Terrorist Act" means an act of violence, other than civil disorder or riot, (that is not an act of war, declared or undeclared) that results in loss of life or major damage to property, by any person, acting on behalf of or in connection with any organization which is generally recognized as having the intent to overthrow or influence the control of any government.

A terrorist act which occurs in your departure city or in a city which is a scheduled destination for your Trip provided:

1) The terrorist act occurs within 30 days of the Scheduled Departure Date for your Trip; and

2) Your premium is received within 15 days of the initial deposit/payment for your Trip.

"Terrorist Act" means an act of violence, other than civil disorder or riot, (that is not an act of war, declared or undeclared) that results in loss of life or major damage to property, by any person, acting on behalf of or in connection with any organization which is generally recognized as having the intent to overthrow or influence the control of any government.

If within 30 days of Your departure, a politically motivated Terrorist Attack occurs within a 1-mile radius of the territorial city limits of the city to be visited by the program for which You have registered. This coverage applies only if this Plan was purchased within 15 calendar days of initial Trip payment

“Terrorist Attack” means an incident deemed an act of terrorism by the U.S. government.

If within 30 days of Your departure, a politically motivated Terrorist Attack occurs within a 1-mile radius of the territorial city limits of the city to be visited by the program for which You have registered. This coverage applies only if this Plan was purchased within 15 calendar days of initial Trip payment

“Terrorist Attack” means an incident deemed an act of terrorism by the U.S. government.

A Terrorist Incident after the Effective Date, if the Insured is scheduled to arrive at their Destination within 10 days following the Terrorist Incident and, for Trip Interruption, the Travel Supplier is not offering a substitute itinerary. Coverage for travel to the Insured’s Destination for which travel warnings have been issued at the time this coverage is purchased is excluded. Coverage for travel to the Insured’s Destination in which such a documented and reported Terrorist Incident has occurred in the 12 months prior to the purchase of the coverage is excluded.

A Terrorist Incident after the Effective Date, if the Insured is scheduled to arrive at their Destination within 10 days following the Terrorist Incident and, for Trip Interruption, the Travel Supplier is not offering a substitute itinerary. Coverage for travel to the Insured’s Destination for which travel warnings have been issued at the time this coverage is purchased is excluded. Coverage for travel to the Insured’s Destination in which such a documented and reported Terrorist Incident has occurred in the 12 months prior to the purchase of the coverage is excluded.

If within 30 days of Your departure, a politically motivated Terrorist Attack occurs within the territorial limits of the City listed on Your itinerary. The Terrorist Attack must occur after the Effective Date of Your Trip Cancellation coverage.

You are covered for the amount purchased for Published Penalties and unused non-refundable prepaid expenses for Travel Arrangements, whenever You are prevented from taking a Covered Trip for any of the following reasons that occur after the Effective Date of Your Protection Plan:

• A Terrorist Incident in Your city of departure or destination occurring after the policy Effective Date, if You are scheduled to arrive in that city within 30 days following the Terrorist Incident;

"Terrorist Incident" means the unsanctioned and illegal use of violence which caused destruction of property, injury, or death by an individual or group for the express or implied purpose of achieving a political, ethnic, or religious goal or result. A Terrorist incident does not include general civil disturbance, rioting, an act of war (declared or undeclared) or the intentional release of a biological material.

A Terrorist Incident, if You are scheduled to arrive at a Destination within 30 days fol- lowing the Terrorist Incident and the Travel Supplier is not offering a substitute itinerary. Travel to any Destination for which travel warnings have been issued by the U.S. State Department at the time this coverage is pur- chased is excluded. Travel to any Destination in which such a Terrorist Incident has occurred in the 180 days prior to the date this coverage was purchased is excluded. .

a Terrorist Incident in a City listed on the Insured’s itinerary within 30 days of the Insured’s scheduled arrival. “City” means an incorporated municipality having defined borders and does not include the high seas, uninhabited areas, or airspace.

“Terrorist Incident” means an act of violence, other than civil disorder or riot (that is not an act of war, declared or undeclared) that results in loss of life or major damage to property, by any person acting on behalf of or in connection with any organization which is generally recognized as having the intent to overthrow or influence the control of any government

The Company will pay a benefit, up to the maximum shown on the Confirmation of Coverage, if You are prevented from taking Your Trip due to:

Terrorist Incident means an incident deemed a terrorist act by the United States Government that causes property damage and or loss of life.

A Terrorist Incident that occurs in a city listed on the itinerary of the Insured’s Covered Trip and within 7 days prior to the Insured’s Scheduled Departure Date. This same city must not have experienced a Terrorist Incident within the 60-day period prior to the Insured’s Effective Date under this Policy. Benefits are not provided if the Travel Supplier offers a substitute itinerary;

The Terrorist Incident must occur in a city listed on Your itinerary within 30 days prior to Your Scheduled Departure Date. This same city must not have experienced a Terrorist Incident within the 90 days prior to the Terrorist Incident, which is causing Your cancellation. Benefits are not provided if Your Travel Supplier offers a substitute itinerary

The Terrorist Incident must occur in a city listed on Your itinerary within 30 days prior to Your Scheduled Departure Date. This same city must not have experienced a Terrorist Incident within the 90 days prior to the Terrorist Incident, which is causing Your cancellation. Benefits are not provided if Your Travel Supplier offers a substitute itinerary

The Insurer will reimburse the Insured, as described below, if a Trip is canceled or interrupted for the Insured due to any of the following Unforeseen circumstances:
a Terrorist Incident in a City listed on the Insured’s itinerary within 30 days of the Insured’s scheduled arrival. “City” means an incorporated municipality having defined borders and does not include the high seas, uninhabited areas, or airspace;

“Terrorist Incident” means an act of violence, other than civil disorder or riot (that is not an act of war, declared or undeclared) that results in loss of life or major damage to property, by any person acting on behalf of or in connection with any organization which is generally recognized as having the intent to overthrow or influence the control of any government.

a Terrorist Incident in a City listed on the Insured’s itinerary within 30 days of the Insured’s scheduled arrival. “City” means an incorporated municipality having defined borders and does not include the high seas, uninhabited areas, or airspace. This coverage applies only if insurance was purchased within fifteen calendar days of "initial trip payment"

“Terrorist Incident” means an act of violence, other than civil disorder or riot (that is not an act of war, declared or undeclared) that results in loss of life or major damage to property, by any person acting on behalf of or in connection with any organization which is generally recognized as having the intent to overthrow or influence the control of any government.

A Terrorist Incident that occurs in a city listed on Your Covered Trip itinerary and within thirty (30) days prior to Your Scheduled Departure Date. This same city must not have experienced a Terrorist Incident within the ninety (90) days prior to the Terrorist Incident that is causing the cancellation of Your Covered Trip. Benefi ts are not provided if the Travel Supplier offers a substitute itinerary. Your Scheduled Departure Date must be no more than twenty four (24) months beyond Your Effective Date. This benefit only applies if the plan has been purchased within twenty-one (21) days of Your initial payment for the Covered Trip and for the full cost of the Covered Trip.

Terrorist Incident: means an incident deemed a terrorist act by the United States Government that causes property damage or Loss of life.

Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption: The Insurer will pay a benefit, up to the maximum shown on the Schedule of Coverage and Services, if You are prevented from taking or continuing Your covered Trip due to the following Unforeseen events:

• If within 30 days of Your departure, a politically motivated Terrorist Attack occurs within the territorial limits of the City listed on Your itinerary. The Terrorist Attack must occur after the Effective Date of Your Trip Cancellation coverage.

A Terrorist Incident after the Effective Date, if the Insured is scheduled to arrive at their Destination within 10 days following the Terrorist Incident and, for Trip Interruption, the Travel Supplier is not offering a substitute itinerary. Coverage for travel to the Insured’s Destination for which travel warnings have been issued at the time this coverage is purchased is excluded. Coverage for travel to the Insured’s Destination in which such a documented and reported Terrorist Incident has occurred in the 12 months prior to the purchase of the coverage is excluded.
