My flight was diverted, and I wish to return home instead of going to my original destination. Am I covered by travel insurance?

If your flight to Brussels was rerouted because of the terrorist explosions at the airport and you want to return home instead of continuing on your trip, you may be covered by your travel insurance under the Trip Interruption benefit.

If your travel insurance includes Terrorism coverage and you meet your policy’s requirements for Terrorism coverage, Trip Interruption can reimburse you for prepaid and unused travel expenses, as well as additional expenses incurred to return home due to Terrorism.
