Ebola Outbreak Largest in History

The Ebola outbreak that has taken over 700 lives in over 1,000 confirmed cases has been confirmed as the largest outbreak, in both cases and deaths, in the viruses history.

According to CDC Director, Tom Frieden, the epidemic could take 3 – 6 months to dissipate.

The strain of Ebola causing the outbreak in West Africa, is of the most deadly in the virus family.
