CDC Ebola Travel Alert: Level 2

July 28, 2014 – The Center for Disease Control (CDC) posted a Level 2 Travel Alert for International Travel to Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. The alert advises travelers to take precaution and pay attention to your health during and after travel.

There is a special recommendation for health care workers to wear protective clothing,including masks, gloves, gowns, and eye protection, practice proper infection control and sterilization measures, isolate Ebola patients, avoid direct contact with the bodies of people who dies from Ebola, and to notify health officials if one has been exposed to someone with Ebola.
