Ebola Closes Liberian Borders

As of Monday, the worst ebola outbreak in history has caused the West African country of Liberia to close most of its borders in an attempt to control the epidemic.

More than 1,000 people have been affected by the current outbreak; Liberia’s top doctor has fallen victim to the disease.

In addition to the uncommon practice of closing borders to contain the virus, the president of Liberia has also banned large gatherings, and is even considering quarantining certain neighborhoods.
