Ebola Outbreak is First to Cross National Borders

The largest Ebola outbreak in history is now spreading rapidly across three countries in West Africa making this epidemic the only one to have crossed national borders.

The virus, currently spreading across Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone has been said to be beyond anybody’s control by the World Health Organization. The virus, which first broke out in Guinea in March, was not properly contained and spread to the capital in April. By the end of June, the virus had invaded Liberia, and Sierra Leone as well.
