Air France staff unions have organized walkouts or strikes on April 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 23rd and 24th over wage demands, and agreed to meet management for further negotiations after the airline improved its salary offer. The industrial action by Air France pilots, cabin crew and ground staff has contributed to travel disruption in the country at a time when rail workers are also protesting against planned reforms. As of Tuesday April 10th, the airline has managed to preserve 75% of its flight schedule but is also advising passengers traveling on the days impacted by the strike to check their website on the day prior to departure, for a determination. French Railway company, SNFC, is issuing exchanges and refunds for passengers with trips booked before and on April 29th, but have no update at the moment on the status of tickets for May and June travel.
