Jimena was named early Thursday and strengthened into a hurricane early Friday.  Hurricane Jimena is located about 1,075 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California.  Rapid intensification is likely to continue within the next 24 hours and Jimena could become a major hurricane as early as Friday night.  For now, this system is no threat to land the next five days as it tracks westward behind Ignacio.  It’s too early to know if this system may eventually become a threat to Hawaii.  Customers are strongly encouraged to read their Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy for details regarding their available coverage.  For plans that do offer coverage for adverse weather and natural disasters, please note that there is no coverage for this specific storm under any plans purchased on or after August 28, 2015.  Please contact CSA Travel Protection with questions.
