Oho strengthened to a hurricane on Tuesday. As of this morning, the center of Hurricane Oho was located about 645 miles east-northeast of Hilo, Hawaii, moving toward the north-northeast near 35 mph. Maximum sustained winds were near 105 mph with higher gusts. Oho is expected to continue accelerating toward the north-northeast during the next couple of days, though it is predicted to lose strength after the next 24 hours. On its forecasted track, the storm could arrive at the coast of the Northwest U.S. and Canada as an extra-tropical storm on Friday.
