Update from CDC: Illinois Man Falsely Diagnosed

The CDC announced Wednesday that the Illinois man who was believed to have contacted the MERS virus through face to face contact was not actually infected by the disease.

Following more extensive blood tests by the CDC it was revealed that the man had not contracted the disease, and it has still not spread through human to human contact.
