On Thursday, July 14th, 2016, a truck was driven through a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, France. It is reported 84 people are confirmed dead and the number is expected to rise with so many critically injured. Global Alert extends our deepest sympathies to the victims and their loved ones. The U.S. Department of State identified this as a terrorist attack, and as such, this tragic event meets the guidelines and requirements for coverage under certain Global Alert travel protection plans.
