More Detail

One of the factors that determines the price of a Single Trip policy is your trip length. Typically if you are traveling for more than 30 to 60 days, most policies will charge a daily rate based on the number of days you are traveling. This means that the longer you are covered, the more expensive the policy will be.

Additionally, most policies require you insure the exact dates. from the moment you leave home until the moment you return home

Some International Medical policies will allow you to renew coverage, so if you’re not sure when you will be returning home, you can choose a policy which allows you to renew before it expires. If your policy expires while you are traveling, or you decide to travel longer, you can also purchase an additional International Medical policy to cover the remainder of your trip.

This information can vary based on the travel insurance policy. Please review the policy certificate to verify coverage.
