If you are looking for coverage to cancel your trip due to fear, the only option available is purchasing the Cancel For Any Reason upgrade. This benefit allows you to cancel your trip for any reason not otherwise covered by the policy, including fear.
This benefit requires 100% of your prepaid and non-refundable trip costs are insured and only reimburses up to 75% of the trip cost. Most Cancel For Any Reason policies also require the policy to be purchased within 14-21 days of your first booking, and that you cancel the trip at least 48 to 72 hours before departure. Select cruise only policies are available anytime before you’ve made your final trip payment. This upgrade typically increases the premium by about 40-50%.
