What is common carrier AD&D?

Last Updated:

Short Answer

Common Carrier AD&D provides a payout in the event of an accidental loss of life or limb that occurs while traveling on a common carrier, while on a covered trip.

More Detail

“Common Carrier” is typically defined as any public, ticketed transportation, such as a flight, bus or train. This coverage generally provides a higher payout than 24 Hour AD&D coverage, and a lower payout than Flight Only AD&D coverage. Coverage is typically excluded if you are driving your own vehicle, piloting your own plane, or acting as crew.
