What is Maximum Number of Trips?

Maximum Number of Trips is the amount of trips eligible for coverage under one travel insurance policy. This applies only to annual travel insurance policies, however most annual policies do not limit the number of trips that can be taken during the year. There is typically only a Maximum Trip Length limit within annual policies.

Travel insurance is designed to cover travelers from door-to-door. A trip starts when a traveler leaves home, and ends when they return home, regardless of the number of destinations visited in between.
