Some travel insurance policies offer an optional Cancel for Any Reason upgrade. In order to be eligible for this upgrade, the policy must be purchased within 14-21 days of your first booking date. Select cruise only policies offer Cancel For Any Reason anytime before you’ve made your final trip payment. If you are outside this time window or the plan does not offer Cancel for Any Reason, the benefit will read “no coverage” on the Policy Detail on the Quote Results page.

The Cancel for Any Reason benefit allows you to cancel your trip for any reason not otherwise specified as covered on the policy, and typically increases the premium by 40-50%.

In order to qualify for Cancel For Any Reason coverage, you must comply with the following:

– Purchase your policy within 14-21 days of your initial booking, or before you’ve made your final trip payment
– Insure 100% of your prepaid and non-refundable trip costs
– Cancel your trip a minimum of 2 or 3 days before you are due to depart for your trip
