ST. PETERSBURG, FL October 4, 2012 – Travel insurance comparison site, Squaremouth, is proud to announce the launch of the Beacon Series of products from its newest provider, Azimuth Risk Solutions. Azimuth, underwritten by Lloyds of London, carries an AM Best rating of “Excellent” and joins the ranks of 20 other quality providers on the site.
“We are pleased to add Azimuth to our list of providers,” says Josh Walker, Product Manager. “We constantly work to increase coverage options for our customers and want them to feel confident with any purchase they make.” Squaremouth only adds the most reputable companies to the site, carefully researching each provider so customers don’t have to.
Azimuth’s Beacon Series includes two policies: The Beacon America, which covers travelers both internationally and in the U.S., and the Beacon International, which only covers travelers outside of the U.S.
“A distinguishing feature of the Beacon Series is its trip delay benefits,” explains Chris Harvey, CEO of Squaremouth. “Travel medical policies do not typically include coverage for delays, but these policies provide up to $100 a day to offset unexpected costs that result from common carrier delays.”
The Azimuth plans offer flexible coverage lengths. Depending on citizenship, travelers may be able to extend their coverage period between 365-730 days. If they decide to stay in at a destination longer than initially expected, they can renew policies as often as necessary, within the maximum coverage period.
During longer trips, it may be necessary for a traveler to return home for a brief period. The coverage of most policies is terminated when a traveler returns home, regardless of the length of their policy. However, Beacon policies with a minimum length of 90 days allow travelers to return home for up to 14 days while maintaining full coverage.
Most importantly, the Beacon Series from Azimuth provides excellent emergency medical and evacuation coverage. The plans allow travelers to choose maximums ranging from $60,000-$2,000,000. Travelers can also adjust the cost of policies by choosing the deductibles for emergency medical benefits. These deductibles, which travelers are only required to pay once per coverage period, range from $0 to $2,500.
As with all providers on the site, Azimuth complies with Squaremouth’s Zero Complaint Guarantee. In the event a customer feels that a provider is incorrectly handling a claim, Squaremouth will step in to mediate on their behalf. If a fair resolution is not reached, Squaremouth will remove the provider from their site. The Zero Complaint Guarantee offers peace of mind to travelers and distinguishes providers as fair and reputable. Azimuth’s reputation and strong financial standing make this provider an excellent addition to squaremouth.com.
