Tropical Storm Arthur formed today, to become the first tropical storm of the 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season. The system remains nearly stationary now less than 100 miles southeast of Cape Canaveral, but is expected to pass east of northeastern Florida by Wednesday night. Arthur is forecasted to track near or off the coast of the Carolinas by Thursday night.
