CSA Position Statement Tropical Storm Julio

Tropical Storm Julio formed in the eastern Pacific Ocean on Thursday, August 4th. Julio is expected to gather strength over the next few days and become the eastern Pacific basin’s fifth hurricane of the season. Julio is no immediate threat to land. However, there is a potential for Julio to reach the Hawaiian Islands as soon as Sunday.
