Tropical Storm Karina formed on Wednesday morning about 325 miles west-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, to be the 11th named storm of the 2014 Pacific Hurricane Season. Tropical Storm Karina is expected to continue to strengthen as it moves to the west over warmer waters during the next five days. It is possible that Karina could strengthen into a hurricane, but it is currently no threat to land.
