I am applying for a visa and travel insurance is required. Will I receive a premium refund in the event my visa is denied?

This will depend on the type of travel insurance purchased. International Medical travel insurance can generally be canceled up to the the day prior to departure date. Travel insurance policies generally have a “free look” period of 10 – 15 days depending on the policy purchased. In addition, some carriers have a small administrative fee of between $5 and $10 that is not refunded.
