NON-MEDICAL EMERGENCY EVACUATION

The Company will reimburse You, up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Confirmation of Coverage, for all reasonable expenses incurred for Your transportation to the nearest place of safety, or to Your primary place of residence, if You must leave Your Trip for a Covered Reason, as defined below.

Evacuation must occur within ten (10) days of any covered event. Arrangements will be by the most appropriate and economical means available and consistent with Your health and safety. Benefits are only payable for arrangements made by the assistance provider.

Covered Reasons: The Company will pay for the Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation Benefits listed above if, while on Your Trip, a formal recommendation from the appropriate local authorities, or the U.S. State Department, is issued for You to leave a country You are visiting on Your Trip due to:

1) A natural disaster;

2) civil, military or political unrest; or

3) You being expelled or declared a person non-grata by a country You are visiting on Your Trip.

These benefits will not duplicate any other benefits payable under this Certificate or any coverage(s) attached to this Certificate.

32.17 Political Evacuation — Subject to the Benefits and Limits set forth in the Schedule of

Benefits/Limits in Section 21, the Scheme Administrator will pay the following Political

Evacuation Benefits when the US Department of State issues a travel warning after the

Participating Members’ arrival in the destination country and/or after the Effective Date of

insurance;

32.17.1 The cost of transportation by the most economical means possible for the Participating Member to the nearest country of safety or to the Home Country, provided that the Participating Member contacts the Scheme Administrator within ten (10) days of the warning is issued and subject to the following conditions and restrictions; and

32.17.2 The Participating Member must be in compliance with all conditions and provisions of this evidence of insurance; and

32. 17.3 The Participating Member must have already arrived in his or her destination country when the US Department of State issues a travel warning for that country; and

32. 17.4 Determination of the country to which the Participating Member will be evacuated will be determined by the Scheme Administrator; and

32.17.5 Political Evacuation Benefits must be approved in advance and coordinated by The Scheme Administrator; and

32.17.6 The Scheme Administrator will use their best efforts to arrange any Political Evacuation within the least amount of time possible. The Participating Member understands that the timelines of evacuation can be affected by circumstances that are not within the control of the Scheme Administrator, such as, availability of transportation equipment and staff, delays or restrictions on flights caused by mechanical problems and weather. The Participating Member, and his or her heirs, agrees to hold the Scheme Administrator harmless, and the Scheme Administrator shall not be held liable for any delays that are not within their direct and immediate control.

32.17 Political Evacuation — Subject to the Benefits and Limits set forth in the Schedule of Benefits/Limits in Section 21, the Scheme Administrator will pay the following Political Evacuation Benefits when the US Department of State issues a travel warning after the Participating Members’ arrival in the destination country and/or after the Effective Date of insurance;

Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation

This Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation Benefit is not available if a formal recommendation in the form of a Travel Advisory or Travel Warning from the U.S. State Department is issued for a country preceding Your arrival into that country on Your Trip, or if a country is an Excluded Country preceding Your arrival into that country on Your Trip.

You are eligible for benefits, up to the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits, for all reasonable expenses incurred for Your transportation to the nearest place of safety, or to Your primary place of residence, if You must leave Your Trip for a Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation Covered reason, as defined below.

Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation must occur within fourteen (14) days of any covered event. Arrangements will be by the most appropriate and economical means available and consistent with Your health and safety. Benefits are only payable for arrangements made by iTravelInsured®, Inc.

Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation Covered reasons: We will pay for the Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation Benefits listed above if, while on Your Trip, a formal recommendation in the form of a Travel Advisory or Travel Warning from the U.S. State Department, is issued for You to leave a country You are visiting on Your Trip due to:

b) the repossession of any property; or

c) Your non-compliance with a contract, license or permit;

5. loss or expense arising from or due to liability assumed by You under any contract.

1. your Transportation and Related Costs to the Nearest Place of Safety, necessary to ensure your safety and well-being as determined by the Designated Security Consultant;

2. your Transportation and Related Costs within 14 days of the Political Evacuation to either to the country in which you are traveling while covered by the Policy; or your Home Country; or

3. consulting services by a Designated Security Consultant for seeking information on a Missing Person or kidnapping cases, if you are kidnapped or are reported as a Missing Person to local or international authorities. Benefits will not be payable unless We (or Our authorized assistance provider) authorize in writing, or by an authorized electronic or telephonic means, all expenses in advance, and services are rendered by Our assistance provider. Our assistance provider is not responsible for the availability of Transport services. Where a Political Evacuation becomes impractical due to hostile or dangerous conditions, a Designated Security Consultant will endeavor to maintain contact with you until a Political Evacuation occurs.

Political Evacuation Benefits are payable only once for any one Occurrence. If, after a Political Evacuation is completed, it becomes evident that you were an active participant in the events that led to the Occurrence, We have the right to recover all Transportation and Related costs from you.

We will not pay Political Evacuation Expense Benefits for expenses and fees:

1. payable under any other provision of the Policy;

2. that are recoverable through your employer;

3. arising from or attributable to an actual fraudulent, dishonest or criminal act committed or attempted by you, acting alone or in collusion with other persons;

4. arising from or attributable to an alleged: a) violation of the laws of country in which you are traveling while covered under the Policy; or b) violation of the laws of your Home County or country of residence;

5. due to your failure to maintain and possess duly authorized and issued required travel documents and visas;

6. for repatriation of remains expenses;

7. for common or endemic or epidemic diseases or global pandemic disease as defined by the World Health Organization;

8. for medical services;

9. for monies payable in the form of a ransom, if a Missing Person case evolves into a kidnapping;

10. arising from or attributable, in whole or in part, to: a) a debt, insolvency, commercial failure, the repossession of any property by any title holder or lien holder or any other financial cause; b) non-compliance by you with regard to any obligation specified in a contract or license;

11. due to military or political issues if your Security Evacuation request is made more than 30 days after the Appropriate Authority(ies) Advisory was issued.
