I have filled a claim. I am waiting to hear from the company
I had no need for claiming any coverage, but it was good to to be cover. The problem was misinformation as always a few associates who are not well inform. I've wanted to extent my vacation requested if I could renew and was told that I could. The day of expiration was near and when call for confirmation of renewal I was told the opposite. No renewals Thanks a lot.
I didn't focus on the exclusions when I purchased the insurance, nor did I focus on the daily limits
You paid exactly what you should have. I mistakenly thought I would be covered for my entire loss.

Our trip was a 5 month trip including 14 countries. This policy covered a range of activities and environments we would or could be in. After the Nepal earthquake we needed to file a claim. A representative was easy to speak with, understood our urgency and helped make the claim quickly. I'd love there to be an app for uploading documentation and virtual checks. (They only mail checks to your house. Not the most helpful if you are on the road for many months.) Otherwise, we were quite pleased with the service, the coverage and the compensation.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel a planned trip due to a medical emergency. We filed a claim and found the entire process very straightforward. Customer Service was very helpful in clarifying several questions that we had. Overall, very satisfied with the service we received. We have already recommended Allianz to several of our friends.

I had to call both Squaremouth and Allianz with some questions before deciding on what policy to purchase. Both parties were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. They made the whole process very easy.
During my trip, my tooth/filling broke very unexpectedly. Fortunately, when I checked my travel insurance policy, this was covered so I was able to get reimbursed for this cost within a few months. Of course there was a lot of paperwork involved and I understand that. But I found it very tiresome to find a local Notary Public in India to stamp my letter stating that I did not have any other insurance. This one step was very challenging to find in a different country. I would take this requirement out of the claims if possible. Otherwise, having travel insurance did pay off this time as I did end up having a medical emergency.
After an accident I contacted the 24 Allianz customer service to inquire about claims and payments for medical services, and the representative was very informative and helpful.
