    Filing a claim requires time, persistence, and attention to detail. I understand the necessity of all this. The process has just started with me so I will make a final judgment on the worthiness of Squaremouth once the process is complete.

    Everything went according to plan. The only problem we had was that Delta lost my husband's checked bag for 8 days. I believe we are entitled to some compensation due to the length of time it was missing. Haven't checked policy yet tho as I got a bad case of bronchitis right at the end of our trip. Due to missing luggage, we had to buy him some essential items as he had only the clothes he wore on the flight over. I had suggested he put a few of his things in my bag but he didn't and there probably wouldn't have been any room. So we spent 80 Euros on his temporary clothes. The bag arrived on the 9th day.
    So anyway, was impressed at the many AXA offices in France.
    Would use your company again,

    We had planned a South African Safari to celebrate a milestone anniversary and my husband had to have emergency surgery requiring a lengthy recovery less than 3 weeks before our departure.
    We notified all the parties with whom we had made reservations for the trip. We got documentation verifying all travel related expenses. We contacted AXA. We filed a claim submitting detailed information about our expenses related to the trip along with documentation of the health emergency from our medical providers. We were refunded the land portion of the trip in a timely manner. We did not receive the reimbursement for the air portion at that time, because, technically, we could use the tickets with a penalty (in this case $750 per person) within a year. We were not able to rebook the tickets and filed a claim for the full amount of the airline tickets and were reimbursed the full amount of the tickets.
    Everything was handled professionally and without a hassle.
    We would certainly insure with AXA on a future trip.

    We had to cancel our trip because of a medical emergency-----filed a claim and are waiting for it to be processed. We will let you know.

    Very professional. I became ill on my trip and had to cut it short by 2 weeks. I filed a claim and received very good service. I supplied all the paperwork that they had requested and received a positive answer from them.

    I tried to cancel the policy within 24 hours because my travel agent purchased a policy that was cheaper. AXA charged me for covering me that day and I still don't have a refund!!

    The first call I made was to inquire about specific coverage on the policy. I didn't have my policy in front of me, but wanted assistance. I was told that her computer was slow and waited for it to come up. Then I was told that she would check the coverage for me and send me an email with the coverage details. I never received an email. I called a second time and talked with an agent who was very helpful and answered all of my questions.

    My claim was denied for "Trip Interruption" . I would never use this insurance again and I am skeptical about using your company as well.
