    We did not use the insurance we purchased, but we had an incident where we might have needed it. It was reassuring to know that we had something to help us out if needed.

    When I tried to call them, I got no answer and no return call. I had to have some emergency blood work. I did it and paid for it. But I wanted to know if it were covered. I got no answer for days. I have no idea how they act in a real emergency but I was NOT impressed by their inaccessability.

    Just waiting for my claim to be evaluated. Getting a hold of them was a little tricky and a wait on the phone but nothing excessive.

    I submitted the claim 2 weeks ago and the rep was very nice, helpful and professional.

    Broke my elbow prior to a hiking trip to Iceland.

    Hoping to hear something soon.

    Had a nasty fall while hiking and lost both my hearing **** in the fall. Checked my policy and found that it did not cover loss of glasses or hearing ****. Called the AXA Assistance line just to confirm. Call was answered quickly. Assistant was very friendly and helpful, but did confirm that the hearing **** were not covered. I don’t know if other companies cover these losses, but I suspect that these items need to be insured separately. So, just an FYI for other travelers.

    This has been a terrific experience purchasing my travelers insurance with AXA USA. I will purchase from them with my future travel plans! I highly recommend AXA USA, there is many insurance plans to choose from for what ever your traveling needs are.

    Wish there was a provision to extend policy. I had 7 week policy and wanted to extend for a week after 6 weeks of travel.

    I received email requesting receipts of medical, and expenses which I already sent
