    I was in the Fiji Islands and the resort lost my passport after making a copy. I called and spoke to Liam who checked my coverage and sent claim forms. It was reassuring to be able to speak with someone on an emergency basis.

    American Airlines had mechanical problems with TWO of our flights, and we were stranded at several airports because they kept missing connecting flights -- while stranded, I attempted to call the numbers listed on our policy information sheet, but kept getting in a loop on their phone lines (press ?, then press?, then press? AND then merely returned to the same damn loop!). Very frustrating! When I finally reached a person on one line, they needed to send me to another person at another line. We really did NOT need this type of frustration in the middle of trying to get assistance while American Airlines had kept us flying for two and a half days! We were literally wearing the same clothes for THREE FULL DAYS, and our luggage did not "find" us until we FINALLY reached our final destination.

    Other than advising us to file a claim after our trip and sending me forms via email, we did NOT find any of the assistance numbers to be helpful during our trip! Hopefully, we will not experience the same type of frustration once I have a moment to gather all of the necessary information and file claims.

    the customer service representive was extremely easy to work with. Within minutes of purchasing the insurance all the documentation was sent via email. Having this insurance reduced any possible stress for the trip.

    I cannot say enough good things about my experience with CSA. Several weeks after purchasing the policy my wife was diagnosed with a cancer that had to be surgically removed ASAP. It was the recommendation of the surgeon that she not take the very active trip we had planned and paid for so soon after the surgery. I called CSA to cancel the trip and they immediately sent the claims forms via email. They required extensive information and documentation but that was to be expected. I anticipated that they would request more information or possibly delay payment of the claim or to place hurdles in the way. I mailed the claim forms and the required documentation to CSA. Within 7 days I received an email that they had approved the claim in the full amount and would be sending a check. The check arrived 3 days later. Ten days from filing the claim until I received a check.

    When you buy a travel protection policy you don't really know how good the plan is until you file a claim. Until that point it is all just words and promises. CSA fulfilled its obligation and the claim was processed amazingly fast. I wouldn't buy a travel protection policy from anyone else based on my experience.
