Since my trip was in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, no communication would have been possible during the trip -- with the exception of access to a Satellite Phone in case of an emergency. Luckily, this was not necessaryClaim Process
Prior to initiation of the trip I nearly had to cancel due to a family emergency. The staff was very helpful when I first called to report on the situation; and when, in the end, I was able to travel I was assured that my coverage was still in effect.
