    I am so glad that I found your website through my friend. Experienced travelers need to have insurance but enjoy the choices that your website provides. I am tired of paying the pricey travel companies referrals.

    I am glad that I didn't have to file a claim, but had the assurance that I had insurance if I had needed it.

    They received all the required paperwork on July 31 and said I should get a check in 30 days. I called to check on status and now it will be until mid September. They have online status but it has not been updated since Aug 1. That is why I called to see if they needed anything further.

    I did get paid for my claim but it took way too long. There was no reason for the delay except that they don't have enough staff to process claims. This is also evident with the long wait when calling. I got my claim resolved but I will not use them again. I had another policy for the same trip but for other travelers with Roam Right and the process was much smoother and quicker.

    I knew nothing about travel insurance. Zero. But I consider myself lucky to have found the easy-to-use and understand web site that made purchasing simple. I also was impressed with online chat services and the rep who answered all my questions prior to purchase.

    It took me several conversations, including two initiated through Squaremouth to get an answer to a question on coverage. Global Alert needs to rewrite some of its policy.
    I'm thinking good thoughts about my claim (my first ever on travel insurance) but not holding my breath. That form through Trip Mate was inadequate, too.

    I filed a claim with Trip Mate on June 9th. I received a confirmation that they had received my paperwork on June 13 along with the statement that processing could take 20- 25 days. I contacted the company on July 21 and pointed out that it had been over 25 days. The representative said she would "expedite" the claim. It is now August 11. I have received a check for the medical portion of the claim ($300) but am told the trip interruption portion $5700) is still "pending ". I am highly unhappy with the company and the delay in reimbursement!

    The company acknowledged the receipt of my claim and documents in an e- mail which said it would take 20-25 days to process. I waited a month then called to check on the status of the claim. They acted like they didn't know they had received the documents. I was told it would be expedited. The person who said she would be my contact person did not return my call when I checked claims status 3 weeks later. I finally received reimbursement but will not use this company again.

    Looking through all the options was confusing and hard to determine which plan was right for me, but the rep was able to suggest a plan based on my answers to a few questions.
