Super frustrating and unclear on their policies around getting sick and what would/wouldn't be covered or to get advice or assistance.

July 30, 2022Dianne from MA Verified Squaremouth CustomerClaim was made in August. My request for status update took 5 e-mails of follow up by me. Partial claim was made today. I do not have time or energy to appeal. Additionally, my actual credit card charges were made in July when the Euro conversion was 1.19. But when the claim was settled this week, it was based on current rate which is 10% less. I was cheated out of my actual out of pocket costs. Claim may have saved around $5 to $10 but shows lack of integrity. I buy insurance several times annually, will not do business with an insurance company that took almost 4 months and did not pay me properly.

The policy provided us with peace of mind. Will keep IMG in mind for the future.

I was told nothing could be guaranteed and just to keep receipts and send everything in for review by the claims department. This increased our level of stress and inconvenience (in order to avoid spending money, not knowing whether we’d be reimbursed).
