    My wife and I booked a cruise with Pearl Cruise Lines for a cruise to Cuba. The cruise was cancelled because visas were not obtained. Fortunately, Pearl reimbursed us for the entire cost of the cruise.
    BUT. I obviously had to cancel our airline flights and was charged $175 to transfer miles back to my account. Unfortunately, the claim forms are so complicated that my wife is having a difficult time completing them. One would have been hopeful that the claim process would be simpler in a case like this where we have a small but yet insurable claim.

    WALLET CARD IS SO SMALL. VERY HARD TO READ. WISH THE PRICES WOULD NOT BE SO HIGH FOR OUR AGE GROUP

    Very little to say. All done by internet. Shopped by price. Many have the rep of collecting money but never paying. We'll see after our claim is filed

    1) Squaremouth? John Hancock? Who is whom? I was not clear if I was dealing with representative of insurance company or go between.
    2) It took many months for my claim to be settled. Apparently more information had been requested via email, an email that I did not receive. When I called to
    inquire about the status of my claim, it took a couple of calls to ascertain the status of my claim.
    3) I had questions regarding aspects of my claim; it was hard to get questions answered adequately.

    I had a bit of troubal getting connected to the proper person at John Hancock, but once that was resolved the claims process was quick and easy. Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend Squaremouth and John Hancock.

    I was happy with settlement asked for more but think it was fair didn't like that you ask for original purchase receipts who has receipts for a jacket from two years ago I hope this never happens to me again but I think a good way to know what is in your bag is to take pictures as you pack thank you

    My insurance with John Hancock is the Bronze plan.
    My certificate # is ************.
    I filled a claim for trip interruption and I haven't been reimbursed yet. They are asking for more papers.
    I took that trip in 2015 June 15 to August 10. I was returning originally on July 30 but due to a toothache, I changed my ticket for August 10.
    I purchased this insurance thinking they will be more efficient and less bureaucratic. Unfortunately, I now realize you are all the same. I travel lots, internationally and domestically.
    I have started looking into another insurance with a speedy return, for this coming up vacation to Urope.
    Sorry but I don't have anything nice to say.
