Your customer service representative did not seem to understand that my travel delay was a covered item in my travel policy...it was frustrating.
I would recommend you to others. However I do have claim to file and as long as they goes through without a hitch I will still rate you 5 stars.
I never used it but always take insurance when I travel abroad. Its a peace of mind. I talked to Travel Insurance services to get a clearer picture of what I was planning to buy which helped out.
I contacted MH Ross Travel Insurance customer service twice about the same issue and got two different answers to the same question. I mentioned that to the second person who apologized, but assured me that her answer was the correct one. It was a little unnerving not knowing if that was the case, but luckily I didn't need to put the answer to the test.
I had to interrupt our trip and called and see what I needed to file a claim. The person started the claim which was great. Although she gave the claim number, she did not send the documents. Also she did not know what documents I would need for a claim which would have been helpful
This was by far the worst insurance I have ever purchased. It was not correctly explained to me upon purchase; what I was told was untrue. I had an emergency and had to call on the service and I was promised they would follow up in a few hours and I didn't hear back from them until 72 hours later at which point I had dealt with the situation with my sick toddler on my own. I would highly recommend that no other person purchases this policy as I believe it is a scam and useless in time of need. Be blessed and no need to contact me back.

After your initial call with emergency assistance, immediate action was taken to confirm your coverage. This was completed quickly and there were multiple attempts to contact you the following day, both by phone and email. Over the next two days, further attempts were made to contact you at the hotel, where we could not leave a message, and to your cell phone, where we did leave a message. Emergency assistance was ultimately able to speak with you after calling your cell phone again, but it was then five days after the incident.
You did the right thing by calling emergency assistance once you learned about the medical issue. Coverage was confirmed for this incident, unfortunately, that information did not reach you until the situation was resolved.
We understand your frustration with feeling like nothing was being done. Had we been able to reach you or had our messages been received earlier this could have been avoided. Please know that emergency assistance took swift and thorough action to help you. Your safety and satisfaction as a client are top priorities at MH Ross.

At the moment I am VERY unsatisfied with Ross. My husband had heart procedure 3 weeks before departure so we had to cancel trip per dr orders. I contacted Ross, submitted all the required paperwork and documentation forms, and it has been nearly 6 wks and I have heard NOTHING!! My plan was "cancel any reason" and I got nothing back from the travel co because of the time til depart. My plan was very expensive and I am not happy at all.

We can confirm your claim form was received on May 11th. As of June 5th, the claim has been processed and payment will be sent on Monday, June 8th.
Once all of the documentation is received, we are usually able to process a claim within 10 business days. However, this was not the case with your claim. Please accept our sincere apologies that it was not completed sooner.
