So far everyone @ PYB has been so kind. My claim is ready to be sent; the police report was late, due to the officer losing his dad on the week end after the claim was filed.
So far , I would say this company has helped us and been very patient.
Tried to contact PYB to change the dates of departure a couple times, and kept getting transferred to the after-hours emergency line, which couldn't help me. It took forever to change the dates of my trip. But it didn't matter in the end, because I cancelled the trip entirely.
Needed to upgrade the policy, customer service were great!
This is a positive review for Squaremouth because my claim has not been settled with Protect your Bubble yet. I will provide feedback once the claim has been paid and closed. I never expected to get sick and I never expected the Safari company to drop the ball so badly related to purchasing travel insurance on our behalf. . I am a Wilderness and travel Medicine Physician and NEVER travel anywhere outside the U.S. without comprehensive travel insurance. The lack of insurance, if you have to be air evacuated can be financially devastating or even worse leave you stranded in a terrible part of the world wit substandard health care. I asked my wife several times about our trip insurance and she assured me that she had requested the African Tour company to arrange forth e insurance....GUESS WHAT ? Despite her filling out the forms and turning them in they dropped the ball and we missed the opportunity to buy policies for our family during the time sensitive period. i was quite upset. Ia m a member oft he Diver's Alert Network and tried to get travel insurance through my organization but it just was too time consuming and it gave me one option. Squaremouth was as easy a site to buy travel insurance as I have ever experienced! I was able to compare various policies to select one that would cover my family on our African Safari. I will tell you that I counsel travelers all the time to buy a comprehensive travel insurance when traveling to third world countries and can't imagine that anyone would ignore my advice. It was a blessing that the Squaremouth site was so easy and provided so many options for trip insurance because just a few days before our departure i started having serious pain in my hands and fingers and feel and hurt my neck because I wasn't able to grasp objects with my hands. I was treated immediately and the doctor said forget going to Africa. if I had not bought travel insurance the entire trip would have been a financial disaster because the Africa Tour company was more upset not having a full tour that the fact that I was sick and unable to travel. Unfortunately i am going to miss several months of work and without a travel policy all of the money we set aside fort he 3 week safari would have been completely wasted. The claim has not been settled yet, so I will report back to you and let you know if my Bubble was protected or popped!

It was a bit complicated understanding what was & wasn't covered. I wish I had known about the 21 day window with a cruise especially with pre=existing conditions, but now I know for future.
I have used this service several times now and have been pleased. We are planning another trip and I will call them when I book in a few days. We experienced a 7 hour plane delay on our last European vacation "tripping" the benefits of our policy. I called and the agent was very pleasant and helpful. As it turned out, with the airline comps I would only collect $27 from SquareMouth, not enough to take the time away from my medical practice to fill out forms. This is my $27 tip to SquareMouth. The amount of documentation required to submit for a travel delay is not worth the effort. This company also stopped selling travel insurance in the US 4 days before the end of my trip. Had I been told what documentation to get when I called about my delay it would have been easier to obtain. Now I would have to backtrack
I can't really evaluate the insurance until my claim is settled.

Filing a claim was easy. I called and they told me what they needed and e mailed me the form. I think I got reimbursed in about four weeks.
