Roam Right is awesome and staff friendly. Great prices. I would suggest that every traveler use Roam Right.
Process was slow and I am not sure it would be completed by now without Squaremouth's help. I would not recommend it but it may have been my fault since I did not read the small print as carefully as I should as to the requirements for baggage delay.
I claimed, because I could not make the trip due cancellation of flight ticket by airline without my knowledge.
Roam right says that is not covered.
Why we getting insurance which does not cover this situation?
I will tell everyone, everywhere, that Roamright is no insurance to buy. I had most terrible experience with this insurance..

Agent I talked with was rude, not helpful.
My flight was cancelled by airline without my knowledge.
I found out 2 days before the trip. After I arranged everything thing, packed fully. How that is not covered in insurance ?

We have reviewed your situation and, as you stated, your travel insurance policy does not provide coverage in the event that a passenger’s ticket is cancelled by the airline. Typical travel insurance policies, including RoamRight’s, provide coverage for when an airline cancels or delays an entire flight, not an individual passenger.
Our flight was delayed and an overnight stay was necessary. I called that night and spoke with the answering service who was not only friendly but helpful. By the time we arrived home, our claim forms were already waiting for us on-line. After I gathered and sent in my information, which I sent back on-line, I received an email that my claim was received along with the name of my claims administrator. I received a check within 10 days.
With the weather and cancelled flights of winter 2014, travel insurance was inexpensive peace of mind. I didn't make a claim, but the performance of the insurer and the comments from those who had made claims, convinced me that my premium was well-spent.
I can only provide relevant feedback for my insurance provider before the trip, since I did not need to contact them during my trip, nor did I make a claim. The process of buying a policy was quick and straightforward, unlike some competing companies. I was going to Cuba, which required some extra considerations, and my insurer handled them well.
Didn't end up using the insurance just happy we had it just incase. So much cheaper then paying for the insurance w the cruise. My wife and I would've had to pay over $for insurance
We were fortunate not to need to make any claim. But it was comforting to know we had excellent coverage for a very competitive cost.
