    We were glad we didn't need it, but Arch RoamRight insurance was priced right and gave us assurance in the event we would need it, especially in Russia, where there is NO American Embassy right now. We could call SOMEBODY if there was a medical emergency. It was easy to purchase, proper documents were furnished, and questions were answered on the customer line. We got call backs when we needed additional information. It was a good company up front.

    Poor disclosures, poor customer service. Quick to deny rather than listen to situation.would stay away if you can

    Based on the information you provided with your claim, there was no actual travel delay or missed connection. Due to a scheduling change on your common carrier which resulted in an earlier flight, you chose to alter your travel plans. The cost difference as a result of this choice is not covered by any RoamRight travel insurance policy.

    Our claims are reviewed and adjudicated based on the terms and conditions of the policy. While the policy you purchased provides trip delay or missed connection coverage for a variety of unforeseen events, choosing to move your flight to an earlier time is not one of them.

    The organization in China that had invited the group to teach English there canceled the classes at the last minute and told us not to come. The trip had to be canceled so that we lost the entire value of the airline ticket. RoamRight will not cover any of the losses. They rejected the claim entirely. The reason we purchased travel insurance was because of the unpredictable nature of dealing with China, but this appears to have been a waist as the insurance will do nothing.

The terms of trip cancellation coverage are explained in the policy documents that you received when you purchased your policy. We also give you a 14-day money back guarantee to refund your money if you find the policy does not sufficiently meet your needs.
