    Bitten by dog in Laos. Went to vaccination clinic day I returned to US. Told not covered. Coverage stops as soon as you return. Will never us them again.

    The medical benefits of travel insurance are designed to provide coverage for emergency treatment received while on your trip. Your ID card lists the contact information for our international assistance center. If you had called them immediately after the incident, they could have directed you to a reputable medical facility that would have been able to provide any needed vaccinations or wound care. In this instance, such care would have been covered by your travel insurance policy.

    Consistent with travel insurance industry practice, any medical care sought after returning home is not covered by travel insurance.

    Insurance representative was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns about the policy I purchased. The actual
    policy was easy to download from my lap top. I carried a copy of it on our trip and recorded the companies phone contacts into
    my mobile phone for easy reference if needed. The trip went smoothly and without incident and no claims were filed. The cost for this insurance was reasonable compared to the other companies I checked on the comparison websites and the testimonials from previous customers were very helpful in my final decision to go with SquareMouth.

    So far I am not happy with RoamRight. Purchasing the policy was easy. I contacted them while on my vacation and was able to get through right away. The problem arose when I got home and tried to submit the claim online. I submitted the information several times and it wouldn't save. It brought me right back to the main page showing no claim had been filed.

    I called and was told I had to mail in the claim form which I intend to do. It remains to be seen if they will reimburse me for the medical expenses I incurred while traveling.

    Purchasing the insurance was easy. We did need medical attention during the trip and I haven't filed a claim for it yet. We'll see how that goes after we file for the claim.

    On route from Boston, MA, USA to Quito, Ecuador, Copa lost my luggage. As I was on a 2-week voyage through the Galápagos Islands, there were essentials I needed to purchase before leaving Quito for Baltra. I contacted RoamRight by email and they promptly sent a claim form. I plan to submit the claim this week and I’ll see how responsive they are to claims.

    Excellent claim process. I've used RoamRight for years but of course, you never know whether or not a company is good until you need to file a claim. This past trip, I unfortunately had to file a claim for compensation for a baggage delay. The claim process was quick and easy, and the claim was promptly paid.

    This was my first experience purchasing travel insurance. I researched all of the relative companies and found that, by reputation, RoamRight was one of the best. I called their Customer Service to ask a few questions to guide me through the application process. They were extremely helpful, courteous and kind. Even though I did not make a claim, my overall experience with RoamRight will ensure that I will a customer for all of my future travels.
