    Your need for me to get a reason for the airlines canceled flight out of Canada, has a 30 to 45 day delay, is disappointing. I believe that Roam Right, who requires that statement, could contact the airlines directly to verify the reason for this canceled flight, sparing the client this clerical delay of refunding.

    Grandson got sick during our trip. Telephoned international assistance during early morning hours. They answered promptly and staff was very professional.
    So reassuring to know they were there if we needed them. Grandson was given medical attention and medicine for a bacterial infection. Incident occurred just two days before our scheduled departure, so no trip interruption occurred. We will be filing a claim for medical expense incurred. I can not begin to explain how thankful we were to know you were there for us.

    Outcome was appreciated. But filling out the forms was cumbersome. After I submitted the forms I didn't hear from them at all until I received a check in the mail... even though I emailed a couple of times asking for an update.

    Overall, RoadRight was very good. I didn't give 5 stars for 2 reasons: (1) there was a few week delay between filing the claim and any sign of life. The amount of time to processing the claim was not an issue, and they were actually really fast, but some sign of life would have been appreciated; (2) They asked for a lot of additional information after filing the claim, which they could have asked for up front when they asked for some information together with the claim (or even better, it was information that really they should have just collected at the time the insurance was paid for before the trip). But once they had all the information they wanted, everything was very fast and easy.

    Thank you for your review. Part of our claims process involves emails that alert you during each step of the process. These emails may have gotten trapped in your email’s spam filter. Additionally, we allow customers to log into their accounts and track the status of their claims. Also, not every claim is identical. There are cases where our claims examiner may request additional documentation after viewing the details of your claims.

    The policy provided the coverage I desired and at a reasonable price. My primary interest was an event prior that would preclude my travel. Everything went as scheduled.
