My daughter suffered an injury cancelling our travel plans. The claim was handled within a,week. I received rapid reimbursement. Great service!
I found that calling RoamRight was easy and incurred a very short wait time. The first time I called, I got a quick and definitive answer as to whether we would be covered by cancellation due to illness. The second time, I was asking some questions about filling out the claim form, and I got those answers clearly and definitively. In both cases, the people answering were friendly and informative. I have not yet heard an official resolution of my claim, but assuming all goes well, I will definitely use RoamRight again.

My mom became very ill and had to be hospitalized twice, and I am her primary support person. There was no waiting a long time on the phones. I got clear answers to my questions as to whether or not I was covered under this situation. I made my claim, and was reimbursed for the amount I expected. For this reason, I will always use RoamRight for insuring future travel.
Easy to purchase a travel insurance plan. Trip was delayed and so contacted customer service for more info on the coverage for the delay and they were helpful. Filing a claim this week. We have purchased travel insurance quite a few other times but this is the first time we are filing a claim. From other reviews it seems like the process is not too complicated. We would definitely purchase the plan again.

After my flight home was cancelled with both baggage and flight postponed 24 hrs I called yr agent from Charlotte Airport and explained my situation. I was told to keep any receipts, no problem. After arriving home without luggage as it was "still in St Thomas " I explained to yr agent that I would need to purchase a few items such as a hair brush and undergarments. Much to my surprise your coverage does not apply to flights home unless my bags are never recovered. This info was not printed on my coverage selection page I had in my hand and Im sure it was not outlined as important for me to know when I purchased the policy or when I called from Charlotte. As I still would have purchased trip cancellation insurance from some provider who probably has the same deceptive marketing techniques, I can tell you it wont be your company in the future. Lack of transparency and accountability in this world is so annoying and you obviously care only about your bottom line not how you achieve it. Guess I'll have to purchase trip insurance from the number 2 carrier next trip.
Under the Baggage Delay section detailed in the Description of Coverage you received for your policy, it states that coverage is provided if your “checked baggage is delayed or misdirected by a Common Carrier for more than twelve (12) hours, while on a Trip, except for travel to final destination or place of residence.” Your luggage was delayed on your flight home, so coverage is not provided for your circumstances. You will find that this is standard across the travel insurance industry. However, since your flight was postponed 24 hours, you are eligible for trip delay benefits such as additional food or hotel expenses that were incurred due to the delay. I thought I would be making a claim since my luggage had still not caught up with me after a week at home. I contacted Roamright about procedures and received prompt reply. A second question was answered just as promptly and clearly. Fortunately, I finally received my luggage so no claim will be filed
