I felt their settlement amount was fair. The time it took seemed excessive..... 4 months from injury and notification to settlement..... but I have had very little other insurance claim experiences, so maybe this is normal.
Excellent customer service and product that provided piece of mind prior to and during our cruise.
After shopping several travel insurance carriers, I chose Sqaremouth because they offered better coverage for less money than their competition. I was able to choose the level of insurance I wanted that contained the specific item coverage I was looking for. Although I will not be making a claim, I would definitely choose Sqaremouth again, especially for costly trips overseas.
I was nervous about actually making a claim as the carrier was not a known name. Although I was happy to pay for insurance this way it was more a case of just knowing I had something to fall back on on an emergency.
I filed a claim and I haven't heard from anyone at all in one week.
This is Kevin xxxxxxxxxx. Jean xxxxx is my wife. She is in a lot of pain and will be going to the hospital to resolve this issue in 2 weeks. therefore I have been dealing with this.
So far the claim process is going well. I just got the physician's report and will be mailing it in today. The help with the claim so far has been excellent. Buying the insurance was with a whole group of insurances on-line so not too personal.
If claim goes well which so far it has then I will be completely satisfied. You should probably survey me after that.
Unfortunately my dream vacation to Fiji did not turn out as planned. The second day at our destination resort, I fell and broke my pelvis in 2 places. I called Roam Right and they were there to help me get home. Sadly it took a week to get home as they flew 2 nurses to Fiji to accompany us on the trip home. We used our original plane reservations and they upgraded me to business class. I have been home for over a week now and have not heard from them as to our next step. I plan to call them.
I have been trying to adjust to life in a wheel chair for the next few weeks., It being Christmas time has probably caused some delays.
I was informed by the agent on how to best purchase the coverage I needed and not to over insure. I had to submit a claim prior to departure due to an accident. I sent in the letters from my doctors and the claim was processed and paid within 10 days. My travel partner was also insured and did not go on the trip since she did not want to go with a different room mate. Her claim was also handled in a timely manner.
This was a great insurance policy! I had an issue with my bags not arriving at my final destination and they handled it. I was relieved to get reimbursed for the things I otherwise would not have bought.
