    Our trip was canceled and I have been working with Tin Leg to receive by claim #. I got the insurance "Cancel for any Reason". We have submitted the documents they requested and each time it takes 15 days to process then they request more information and then another 15 days to see where we are in the refund. I'm still waiting. I can say that they did take my call and I did get a live person right away and then that person forwarded my message and I received an email within a few days.

    Just before i was travel to the United Kingdom, I contracted COVID. After 10 days of testing positive on home-test kits, I got a test through my doctor and confirmed the positive diagnosis. My doctor sent me an email with the PCR results and said that I should not travel.

    II contacted British Airways to cancel my ticket and found that its cancelation policy was very restrictive. I bought a business class ticket and paid a fee for selecting my seats for the two flights. This came to about $3,600. BA stated that they would refund only the taxes on the ticket, and would not refund the fees that I had paid for selecting the seats! In all, BA refunded about $330, even though it could resell the seat and charge the next client the same fees for seat selection!!

    So, I filed a claim on line with Tin Leg for the difference in the cost of the ticket and seat selection fees. I uploaded the documents to support my claim. Tin Leg responded within a couple of days asking for some more documentation, none of which was difficult to procure. After about a week Tin Leg contacted me stating that my claim was approved and a check would reach me in about 10 days.

    I received the check and am very satisficed with Tin Leg's service.

    I reserve my comments until this process is complete. If the result is I am compensated according to my contract in a fair amount of time, I would likely change the evaluations above and the comments I would place here.

    I look forward to resolving this issue. I have been very satisfied with your representative, Kelly Gerber. I am hopeful this process will end with me being satisfied with TinLeg overall.

    I called from a hospital in Cambodia and kept getting switched to a number where no one was working, hence same recording. The guy who I spoke with, finally took my info and then told me there was nothing he could do, that I should file when I got back, which I did. I am now waiting for a response (other than the automated one saying that you have the documents required).

    My suggestion is that you don't send out these review requests until all is complete. Hopefully I'll have better things to say at that point.

    After the trip experience went smoothly. Reaching someone while I was at hospital and in emergency was not so easy. Kept getting transferred back to the same person who said he couldn't help me.

    So far, Tin Leg has acknowledged my claim and has requested a phone interview. I was able to choose a date and time online for a phone call. I also have the opportunity to upload documents online to support my claim or I can mail the documents to them with the completed claim form. I don't have enough information to give a rating yet.
