    It was easy to purchase a policy on their website and the coverage is quite good. I was applying for a visa to travel and the health insurance was a requirement. I didn’t have any issue getting my request approved the policy I had just purchased.
    The customer service was amazing. Responsive and very helpful. When my first trip got canceled, they advised and helped me put a hold on my policy for 24 months instead of canceling it altogether like I was planning to. And the reactivation was super easy. The customer service made it happen in less than 48hours plus the increase in coverage I requested simultaneously.

    I need to file a claim due to a flight delay. When I called, I took down the representative's name (after being transferred twice) and asked for evidence of our call and the information I was given. I was told there was none, essentially "just trust us."

    I find that worrisome. I would prefer to have something solid, a case number, call number, or extension to refer to so I can prove the information I was given, or at least solidly refer to it.

    We'll see how it's handled after I submit the claim due to travel delay and flight cancellation.

    I have used Squaremouth to purchase insurance for a number of trips and, thankfully, have never had to file a claim or ask for assistance until now. While the Tin Leg investigation process took awhile and was very thorough, staff was unfailingly kind and respectful, every request for additional information was reasonable, and, ultimately, the claim was approved and paid. All in all, it took about two months. I could not have asked for a better experience after the disappointment of having had to cancel an important trip. Thank you, Squaremouth

    Easy to purchase, and helpline works, but there is a long lag to getting reimbursed if you need to file a claim.

    Everything went well with your company personnel. They were clear in their explanations. of the product and we purchased it. We have a claim to make on a purchased tour in Rome we could not attend on May 9 at 1:30 pm due to a missed connection of our Rome flight (May 8) at Dulles airport in Washington DC due to a late departure take off at Jacksonville airport which was per United Airlines caused by mechanical problems. We arrived in Rome about 13 hours after we were scheduled to, missing our tour.

    When traveling in a foreign country it is reassuring to know that we were covered in the case of a medical emergency. We did not need the coverage, as it turns out, but still glad we paid the relatively few dollars to have peace of mind. It was easy to get the policy that was right for us and the whole process was easy.
