    Before Trip
    We thought my husband would not be able to go do to work. He called the insurance carrier and talked to them about what we needed to do in this case. They were very infomative and helpful.

    During Trip
    I bought the insurance for medical outside the United States because Medicare does not provide coverage. Did not use any benefits because I could not get to Croatia because of volcanic ash.

    There really wan't much connection. Just the forms and information on-lione which was clear and well presented.
