    I was unable to take out scheduled trip as I had a serious medical condition come up and needed surgery. I filed the claim 2 weeks prior to our departure when I learned of this. Departure was Sept 1st and I have yet to have them complete and refund the monies for the trip. I sent them everything but they say they are that behind in getting to all the claims. I can understand that except now it's been 1.5 months and I do not have my refund.

    Horrible, horrible, deceitful service. We purchased the travel insurance on 8/3/2020 for a trip to South Africa. I called TravelSafe in June, 2021 to tell them that our trip had been cancelled and that we would like a refund. I was told what documents to submit online and that there wouldn't be any problems as long as I let them know before the trip was scheduled to depart (8/11/21).

    I had to wait for the statements from the tour company (Exoticca) and my credit card statement so that I could submit them to TravelSafe for a refund, which I did on 8/3/21. I called yesterday to find out the status of our refunds, and was told by Arturo that we would not receive any refunds because it had been over a year since we purchased the insurance. Coincidentally, it was one year to the day that the insurance was purchased.

    At NO TIME during my conversation with a TravelSafe rep in June was I told that there was a deadline to submit the documents for a refund. I couldn't submit what I didn't yet have.

    What kind of scam are they trying to pull? I intend to post my dreadful experience on every social media site that I can find, including TripAdvisor.

    I am mostly displeased with how difficult they were to contact, and how slow they were to respond. My luggage was lost for 96 hours, and they have said they have no responsibility to pay anything, even though I had a lost luggage benefit.

    Our Cruise was cancelled. I contacted Travel Safe and they wouldn't reimburse me for our air fare since
    the Cruise Line cancelled the cruise. I was shocked.

    The policy I purchased included a cancel for any reason. I’m immunosuppressed after liver transplant. I believe I’m owed the 75% cancellation amount from my policy. Please let me know why you denied per the purchased policy.

    Still waiting on claim 78101 to be completed. Process has been smooth thus far, although I've not hear from Travelsafe since filing the claim on July 16th.

    I received this questionnaire while claim was still processing, so I chose not to rate the experience. The claim is still not completed - after 11 weeks - but I feel confident offering 2 stars for the service. I cannot give 1 star, since the claim is still open, but it's certainly possible that the experience will ultimately warrant at.
    Claim was submitted on 7/16, I received a request for additional documentation on 8/14. One of these requested documents was already sent with the initial claim submission, the other was the terms and conditions of the my travel company, which seemed unnecessary and offered redundant information. Regardless, I submitted those documents on 8/14 and it's been 7 weeks since - still haven't heard from them, claim incomplete. Tough to choose this policy for future trips if this is how the claim process goes....I have been very patient and understand they are dealing with very high volume....but safe to offer this rating at this point.....

    I asked for assistance identifying a medical clinic ASAP (specifically not a hospital) and received an email two days later (certainly not ASAP) with one referral - a hospital.

    Had the situation been urgent, I would have pressed harder. They were polite, etc., but I was frustrated they weren’t more ultimately responsive.
