I had a change of plans due to the death of a very close friend and twice extended my trip/policy. I tried unsuccessfully to get through to 24 hour assistance. The computer reception led me in circles and I could not get through to an operator.
Cathy at customer service answered my call during normal business hours and took care of the first extension. The second extension was handled by email. Each time I requested that the new coverage summary be emailed to me.
The only way I had to know the extensions took place is seeing charges to my credit card. I never received a confirmation email and most important I never had copies with the new expiration dates. So, I was traveling the last week without proof of insurance. This left me feeling quite uncomfortable. Traveling, especially in the USA, one must be careful to document everything or medical facilities will delay or refuse service.
I am sorry to hear of the death of your very close friend. I looked back through our records and saw that you contacted Trawick Customer Service and talked to Kathy. At your request, she updated your termination on 5/29 and again on 6/1. We show confirmation email sent receipts for both updates and a follow up by Kathy personally to ask you if you received the documents. She sent to the email address you provided and asked if you had checked your spam folder for the new document email. I apologize that you did not feel comfortable but unfortunately we don’t have any way to know if you received an your document email unless you tell us.
I am looking into why the 24 hour Assistance Service was not available and that you were redirected into circles. It would help if you could email email@example.com - the exact date and time you called, the number you called to and the number you called from. We can then look into how the call was routed and what may have taken place so that it doesn’t happen again. We appreciate that you are a repeat customer for several years now.
I had to cancel my trip due to the political unrest and violence in Nicaragua. I filled a claim, and it was rejected. I was told that my policiey did not cover political unrest.
I found your online service to be extremely easy to use and understand. As a seventy+ senior some web sites can be very frustrating and not intuitive. Two of the most notable features on your application was the ease of selecting the exact coverage I wished to purchase from the extensive and diverse pool. The second came at the close of the transaction when I was given the option to place the policy "calling card" right in my Apple Wallet. This saved me from the need to print out a paper copy of all the policy data to keep up with on the trip. Thanks.

Our plans changed to flying from driving to Miami. I called to see about adding the plane fares to our policy. I was told how to do it. It was efficient and easy. We were very satisfied with the service we received. We would recommend this policy to others. It provided the protection we needed without costing a fortune.
After the insurance policy was created, I noticed that I had misspelled one of our travellers names. I was worried that there would be issues if we had to file a claim. So I contacted Trawick regarding the possibility of correcting the misspelling. I was amazed that they corrected the issue and generated new documents with the proper spelling w/in an hour of my contacting them.
The cost for coverage under Trawick was just right for us - we were going on a locally originating bus trip, didn't want to risk losing our money should we have to cancel due to health issues w/multiple elderly family members but also didn't want to pay a lot of money for coverage.
We will definitely use Trawick for future trips!

My father was very sick and I was concerned that I would have to cancel my vacation last minute. He passed away a week after I purchased the policy and I had to travel to be with him before he passed, but I was able to return in time to take the trip. It was a short two day trip, but it gave me time to reflect on what had happened and to be with my friends. They helped me to grieve in a beautiful location, so I was happy that I did not have to cancel the trip. You never know what is going to happen, and this Trawick International policy gave me piece of mind when I needed it the most. I have come to depend on SquareMouth for all my travel insurance needs, but in this particular case you have really outdone yourself. You took the time to find the exact policy I needed for this situation and I sincerely appreciate it.
