My only problem is that they require a copy of passport exit and entry stamps and the stamps in our passports for Mexico trip are too faint to copy. I just hope they will accept the trip invoice as proof that we actually went to Mexico. But except for that, all else good so far. Will be filing a claim but have not mailed it in yet. Let’s see how fast they pay. That will be the key.

Easy and good prices for desired insurance
My problem was that I booked my trip through a company called Legendary Journeys. Legendary Journeys notified us 30 days before we were to leave that MSC had not been paid. To the best of my knowledge, this should be covered by the travel insurance. I filed the claim about 30 days ago. Trip Assure claims to have their claims resolved within 30 days. So far they haven't resolved the claim.
Didn't need to use the insurance, but it gave us peace of mind.
Customer service was polite and helpful answering my questions.
I just emailed claim to Trip Assure (dba Trip Mate) on 10/19/17 - please check back with me 4 weeks after this date.
It is very difficult to reach a rep by phone. I found that you normally have to wait for one to call you back.

This is the first time I have filed a travel insurance claim, so I do not have a basis for comparison. However, it took 3.5 months for me to receive payment after the claim was filed. This seems like an extremely long time to me. I found the customer service representatives from Trip Assure to be friendly, but unable to expedite my claim. One of them told me she was going to become my advocate and would be back in touch with me within a 2 week period. I am still waiting for her to contact me. It is also rare to get a rep. when you call. Most of the time I had to leave a number and have someone call me back. I did not see any real results with my claim until I filed a complaint with Square Mouth. I believe it was due to the intervention of Square Mouth that my claim was finally satisfactorily resolved. It will be difficult for me to purchase travel insurance from Trip Assure in the future...even if I have to pay more with another company. All in all, it was a very frustrating experience.
We needed both hazardous sports coverage and team sports coverage for our trip. TripAssure and Squaremouth had exactly what we needed at a very reasonable cost. We've used other international travel insurance programs for previous trips and TripAssure was by far the best for us in terms of coverage and cost. We also had last-minute cancellations and your customer service staff were excellent. We had one minor injury and will be filing a claim for a small amount and I'm looking forward to working with your customer service staff.
