I'm very happy with my purchase of travel insurance. My flight was cancelled and I contacted Travelex and the agent was very helpful.
When shopping for travel insurance the SquareMouth representative was so helpful. She listened to what I was searching for and then helped me narrow down the choices to the most appropriate options. I felt confident in choosing a travel insurance company with the information the SquareMouth agent provided.
During the first two days of our trip, one of my family members became ill with food poisoning or possibly something related to their appendix. We were concerned about how quickly their condition was worsening. We called the 24-hour assistance line and were connected with a medical professional. We devised a plan and were directed to the nearest hospital in the event our family member did not improve in the next few hours.
Fortunately, we did not need to go to the hospital but were grateful for the advice and direction the provider gave us.
Every person we had contact with was professional, kind, patient, and competent.
I will definitely use the service again.
We upgraded our trip twice, once due to adding five days on for Iceland en route to Europe. No need to use to insurance this trip. Peace of mind was helpful, as was being told we would need a PCR test confirming Covid if we caught it. We stayed healthy. Worth having extra insurance in retirement.
I have used the Policy several time now and fortunately never had to file a claim. I’m missing now the option to enter the beneficiary name, it used to be there but no longer, why?

To clarify, when a policy is purchased, the term used is “policy designated” which means, next of kin. It is an insurance regulation/law that we require validation of the policy owner to submit the beneficiary in writing (via email) to Travelex at customersolutions@travelexinsurance.com. We are unable to accept a specific beneficiary name over the phone or online.

My interaction with Customer Service was to change the dates of travel. So I have not traveled as yet. The change was easy to make, no problems.
Overall good experience I had. Only problem I got sick there so I am trying to file for the insurance

I haven’t yet heard back from them about our luggage claim other than a generic automated response. It’s been a week now.

Travelex does not make claim determinations, however, we contacted BHSIC on your behalf. BHSIC advised that the claim documents were received May 21, 2024, and your claim will be reviewed within the next 10 days.
