    I became extremely ill in India. I had to cut my trip short and I had to scrape together the money to purchase a business class ticket (because I was so sick that I had to lie down flat, and fly back to the USA. I am now trying to file a claim and be reimbursed for at least some of my loss, but I am stonewalled and put off by your claims agent.

    I attempted to make a claim. They indicated that they would send me paperwork to complete the claim. I have not received any paperwork.

    My contact with Aegis at the time I received medical care was quick and pleasant. At that time, I was advised to submit the paperwork for my claim after my return to the US, which was in 3 days. I did submit all the paperwork for my claim on April 3. I have yet to hear back from them, so I can't speak to how well they handle claims as yet.

    I cannot believe that mental health illness with complete diagnosis is not considered a legitimate reason for cancellation of a trip and covered by your company.

    Dana, we understand your frustration with mental health being an exclusion. However, please note that this is a standard exclusion across the entire travel insurance industry and not something specific to our company.

    Good experience. Had to change ending date, my missttake. Took 2 tries but all agents were helpful and prompt

    Robertson contacted us on 2/6/24 to change his trip dates. We processed his request right away, regrettably, the policy documents were initially missed. However, upon Robertson's follow-up call a few minutes later, we quickly resent the policy documents. We value Robertson as our customer and thank him for sharing his experience with us.

    Since we did not need to file a claim, we are unable to rate Aegis. Buying the policy was comparable to buying any other policy and involved a significant amount of time to read all the details. It was somewhat helpful to speak to a representative in person.

    I am trying to make a claim because the day before I was leaving on vacation. I had open heart surgery so we were not able to go.
    I have heard from GS and two other companies and nobody still has contacted me although they said they would not sure what to do as I have sent you all my documentation. Please get back to me 812-744-3848 Craig E Beckley.

    I put a claim in weeks before our cruise. I needed surgery and was not able to travel. I filed out the form and added doctor forms stating I could not travel as well as receipts for transportation to the airport and the cost of the cruise. I contacted them twice and have not gotten a confirmation nor have I heard from them. I am not pleased.
