Recently concerns have risen over the possible eruption of Iceland’s Bardarbunga volcano. Travelers who purchase a Tin Leg, Economy, Standard or Luxury policy, may be eligible for cancellation, interruption or travel delay benefits, providing the event meets the policy’s requirements under the weather or natural disaster coverage.
Any Tin Leg plans purchased after the eruption will not cover any losses related to Bardarbunga.
Tin Leg customers who have purchased a policy prior to the Icelandic volcano eruption are strongly urged to review their coverage as some benefits, including trip cancellation, interruption, travel delay and non-medical evacuation, may be applied to this situation.
