What if my bags are delayed on the way to the port?

Last Updated:

If your bags are delayed by a specified period of time on the way to the port, you can be covered to buy clothing, toiletries, and other essential items.

More Detail

The Baggage Delay benefit reimburses you for purchasing clothes, toiletries, or other essentials if your luggage is delayed for a specified time period, typically between 12-24 hours. Most policies will reimburse between $100 and $600 per person, however a few policies offer higher benefit amounts.

If baggage is lost altogether, the Baggage and Personal Items Loss benefit provides reimbursement for items that are lost, damaged, or stolen while traveling.
