Daily Mail, July 21 2016 – Anxious Chinese holidaymakers are shunning Europe in the wake of French and German terror attacks

Travel insurance company Squaremouth has reported that non-US holidaymakers have found Europe a less appealing destination this year and that more people were seeking insurance for Germany and France.

The company said: ‘So far this year, we’ve seen a 33 per cent decrease in these customers buying policies for travel to the United Kingdom. Spain has also seen a slight decrease (-3.5 per cent). Italy, the most popular European destination, has remained about the same, while France and Germany have grown.’
